Mathematical Sciences Learning CenterLearning support
The Mathematical Sciences Learning Center provides consultation to students with difficulties solving mathematical and science problems, or requiring assistance to write reports, as well as offering consultation on learning in general. The Center has a collection of reference materials and problem sets in mathematics and other fields like English, Japanese, and social studies. Student tutors at the Center will also assist the studies of all students, helping everyone in resolving problems, making reports, and preparing for tests.
In addition, the Center houses a Learning Chat Salon where students can take time to relax, drink tea, watch TV, and take a snack while interacting with their seniors and members of the faculty. Students can watch CS and BS satellite broadcasts, CNN, Discovery Channel and other overseas TV programs in English here.
The Center is a place where students can watch TV, drink tea, have snack, and even study in earnest in a relaxed atmosphere. There is also an area designated for students to study at their own pace and in their own style.
